The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is open through September 1
Since 2008, the League of American Bicyclists has worked with state Departments of Transportation to collect data on state actions related to bicycling, producing a Bicycle Friendly State (BFS) report card for every state. This year, they’re adding your input for the first time.
They’re taking a page from their comprehensive Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) program and creating a public survey to find out what it’s like to bike in your state. Responses will help inform the League’s 2026 Bicycle Friendly State ranking, as public survey makes up 10% of each state’s potential score.
The League’s report cards help advocates make the case for better biking in their community, and help assist CAMP as we set our policy priorities toward making Pennsylvania the best state for bicycling in the US.
Whether you ride every day, occasionally, or simply care about improving bicycling where you live, anyone familiar with bicycling in Pennsylvania is encouraged to participate.
Your participation is vital in helping create a Bicycle Friendly America.
